Mark Vader joined Salida Capital in January 2011, bringing with him 30 years of experience in the areas of equity trading. Prior to joining Salida Capital, Mark spent 10 years at Scotia Capital in various trading roles, including that of co-head of institutional equity sales and managing the propriety trading group. Scotia Capital's investment philosophy was sector rotational in nature and by default had very active periods in the natural resource arena, specifically in gold and other metals when catalyst situations arose. Mark also covered hedge funds from both a sales and trading perspective. Prior to his time at Scotia Capital, Mark held various trading roles at RBC, First Marathon and TD.
